INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. shrimp (deveined and peeled)
- ¼ tsp smoked sea salt ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tbsp. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves (crushed)
- Pinch red pepper flakes
- Fresh cilantro Tequila
- 1 avocado (smashed)
- 1 lime
- 1 baguette
- Pre-heat your wood-fired oven to 400F
- Cut the baguette into thin slices. Arrange on a baking tray and brush lightly with olive oil. Place in oven and bake until slightly golden (10 mins)
- Slice avocado and remove inside. Use a fork and smash until smooth. (can also use a food processor or blender.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Heat your cast iron pan to high heat. Place on top of the Oven Brothers oven. Add olive oil and shrimp to the pan. Let cook for 2 minutes
- Flip shrimp and add garlic and red pepper flakes. Bake inside the oven for another 2 minutes.
- Remove pan and place back on top of the oven. Add tequila and let warm for a few seconds. Ignite tequila to flambé the shrimp. Let burn for 10-15 seconds then blow out if not already out. Squeeze lime juice over shrimp.
- Add a piece of baguette, a small amount of avocado, shrimp, and top with cilantro.
